Hi, i’m pizzadogs, please enjoy the #1 thought Thursday:
It says no parking for one minute but can I park for 59 seconds? But I still wonder, can I park for 59 seconds 999 milliseconds? Can I park for 59 seconds 999,999 microseconds? Can I park for 59 seconds 999,999,999 nanoseconds? After asking myself these puzzling questions I set out on a quest to find the smallest unit of time. After some digging I found something called a Planck time. Planck time measures the amount of time it would take for light to travel a Planck length. For reference, a Planck length is about ten trillion times smaller than an atom. Planck time is supposed to be the smallest measurement of time, its supposed to be, so I’ll make something smaller. I’ll call it splinter time, it will be the one thing smaller than Planck time, it will be one tenth of a Planck length. Meaning it will be 53.9 Septendecillionths. Which means that the longest you can park in that parking spot is 59 seconds o.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 splinter times
